This was always a favourite time for Mum. Eventually there was only Teresa left at home. Mum,Dad & Teresa always came to my house for tea on Christmas day. The rest of the family would pop round in the evening. Boxing day was Mum's favourite, that's when we all went to hers. She loved having us all there together..... children & grandchildren. Eventually around 1999 Teresa flew the nest, Mum & Dad decided to move to a bungalow. It was nice and cosy but Mum was gutted that the Boxing day gatherings were no longer possible, there were so many of us and the bungalow was tiny. She always said if she won the lottery she would buy somewhere big enough for us all to live together.
